Something a littl different this week with qualifying, we experimented with it this past week and it worked great. We will have three rounds of practice and the third round will serve as quailfying, 10 to 15 karts at one time for six laps.

This weekend will be our 6th points race of the season. Gates will open at 3pm and practice starts at 5pm.

The Georgia Karting Komplex in Carnesville, Georgia will host the last Georgia Maxxis Series for 2014 on Saturday night, September 20th. Gates will open at 3:00 P.M. and Practice will begin at 5:00 P.M. This event will have a format that will allow for both HT-3 classes and EL Classes. A select few prime spots will be held for reserved parking ($20 each). This money will be used to offset the $2000 to win class. This spots are available on a first come / first choice basis beginning at 3:00 P.M. on race day. All sponsor spaces will be put into place beforehand. A complete race flyer will be available at www.gakartingkomplex.net. Several championships are on the line. Each of the 4 Pro classes have a leather champions jacket that will be awarded to each champion! This event will be sponsored by Paradise parts!

A fun day of racing with only 13 classes for the day!

Dawgwood Speedway in Chatsworth, Ga will play host to a Double Header weekend as the Dyno Cams Tri-State Pro Series and Tri-State "WEST" Series meet for one BIG weekend on May 2nd - 3rd. With the limited available dates, this will serve as the makeup date for the event that was rained out at Liberty.

Our featured classes for the weekend will be the 2014 MAXX Daddy paying $5000 to win and paying back tires / cash through 10th place. The entry fee will be $25 for this class. There will be a $3000 to win Non Pro EL tire class. The entry fee will be $50 and will pay back 10 places.

The all new Tri-State Pro series "West" will stop at Dumplin Valley Raceway in Kodak, Tn on March 21st-22nd. We are expecting an even larger crowd than the 471 entries we had at Talladega Raceway Park in January. Due to the large turn out in the EL classes at Talladega, we have added an additional Pro Clone EL for Saturday ($1000 to win).

The 2014 schedule has been post under the schedule tab on Dawgwood's Website. Once again the 2014 season will be jam pack with exciting events. This year Dawgwood will host the Tri-State West Series, The Georgia Dirt Series and the all-new South Eastern Summer Dirt Series. Information on all three of the series will be posted as their races draw closer. Several hit races from last year will return in 2014 including the 2nd Annual Ray Cook’s Tarheel National at Tri-County Racetrack in Brasstown, North Carolina on August 23rd, the 2nd Annual Duel at Dawgwood will return on October 17th and 18th and for its 3rd year the Headrick 100. For the last 2 years the Headrick 100 has race 100 laps caution free. Will it happen for a 3rd year? Find out on November 22nd. The all new Tri-State Pro series West will kick off the season at Talladega Raceway Park on January 17th - 18th. Rodney Byers and Troy Duncan will be working together to make this one of the top series in the nation. Class sponsorships - Class sponsorships for Talladega will be $150. Class sponsors will receive two prime pit spaces in addition to advertising benefits that come with being one of our class sponsors.

General reserved parking - $25 parking paid for in advance will take priority over all other parking.

Free parking - There will be plenty of free parking for this event.

Pole award sponsor - We are looking for a sponsor for our pole medallions. The cost of this sponsorship will be $1000. The pole award sponsor will receive two front row parking spaces at every event.

This will be a non points series, just money races. Each race will be different.
Gate fees will only be $10.
Gate will open at 10am
Practice will start at 12pm

A few changes in the rules.

Open clutches in all classes, with the exception of Amateur and Predator. Which will continue to run a drum clutch with a 16/17 tooth driver.
We will make a few changes in the ages of the kid classes.
