Ray Cook’s 4th Annual Tarheel Nationals $5300 to win August 27th

Ray Cook is once again hosting the 4th Annual Tarheel Nationals at Tri-County Race Track! This race seems to get bigger and better every year. With our two highlight classes of Pro Stock $5300 to win, along with Limited Flathead $2000 to win. The 3rd Annual Tarheel Nationals seen 300 entries for the ONE day event. We already setting our hopes even higher for the 4th Annual Tarheel Nationals. The Dawgwood Speedway crew will be on hand to assist Ray and his team with the race. In the event a class does not meet its’ posted kart minimum, payback will be 100% of class entry fees. We believe the entry fees belong to racers and do not pocket any percentage of classes that don’t meet kart minimum.

RACEDAY INFORMATION:
*We will adhere to NKA rules and polices.
*All adult classes will utilize a big pipe. Junior classes will utilize a small pipe.
*Scoring will be completed utilizing MyLaps transponders. $5 per transponder fee will be assessed at registration.
*Borderline Junior drivers can advance ONE division.
*Junior classes will run 12 lap features. All other classes will run 15 lap features unless noted above.
*Semi Classes Driver Eligibility: To be eligible for Semi Pro/ Semi Heavy a driver cannot have won more than $2,000 in a single race at a National Karting League event. Now, we understand that there are drivers who may have won or placed higher in other races exceeding $2,000 but we simply cannot keep up with every race each weekend, therefore, this rule is based off of NKL events/ Dawgwood Speedway events.
*Maximum size for right tire for Red Platers is 34 1/2. It may be smaller but not bigger.

This weekend will feature a Non-Winners race. This race will be open to anyone who has not won a race yet this year at Dawgwood. Entry fee will be $10, $100 to win Guaranteed. You do have to register in another class to run in the Non-Winners race.

Plus a regular race program.

Saturday June 11, Will be our 4th points race. Full racing program plus $500 to win in Pro Stock and Pro Super Heavy.
