This Saturday night will be our 1st of 8 points races, headlining the the night will be 3 big races featuring a $500 to win Pro EL and Pro Super Heavy EL, but last but not least the UAS (UNLIMITED ALL STARS) for the first time ever these big horsepower beast will be hitting the 1/5 clay oval. (March 7th) This weekend on March 14th Dawgwood Speedway will head under the lights for it first night time race of 2015. Gates will open at 3pm and practice will kick off at 5pm.

A look ahead at March for Dawgwood Speedway

March 7th – Practice day – This will be our annual FREE practice day. Gates open at 10am and practice will start at 12pm. The only thing you have to pay is insurance ($5). Drivers have the option to rent a transponder for the day if you wish ($5). We will practice till dark. Regular season parking goes on sale March 7th

March 14th – Regular Race – Gates open at 3pm and practice starts at 5pm.

March 20th and 21st – CLOSED – National Karting League​ race #2 at Thunder Valley Motorplex. Information on this race can be found on our website and on the National Karting League’s Website.

March 28th – Points Race #1 – This will be race #1 of our summer points series. Last year we gave out over $20,000 in cash, trophies, tires and more. Gates open at 3pm and practice at 5pm.

We will be posting more on each of these events as we get closer to them.

This weeks races have been cancelled. With much of north Georgia in a Winter Storm warning we have decided it is to dangerous to race. For much of the upcoming dates the windshield is expected to be low it is not safe to race.
